Are Buffalo Drives Good

One reads what when it rains?

Well, well, well ... I think we can go on a virtual trip down under , Australia. It's spring there is even already tomorrow, because we have 8 hours shift (8 hours and less in France). He is now 34 ° Darwin ... So if you feel the first cold coming, nothing like a little heat by proxy!

I had the chance to go to Australia 3 short weeks and I reported, inter alia, the following book:
' Sunburnt Country, Stories of Australian Life ' Elizabeth Joley, Sally Morgan and a dozen other authors (1996 - 200 pages)
Minimum level required: B1 +
(to determine your reading level , refer to the pages of June 09 of this blog)

This is a collection of often autobiographical stories of Australians who tell their arrival on the continent their childhood in the bush, discovering the world of work or even marriage, etc.. The authors are mostly the first half of the twentieth century, and their stories allow the reader to discover that large areas of Australia, where we learn to live with the minimum essential experience often fantasized by young people living elsewhere on the planet. Australia remains a favorite destination for young Britons and Americans for their gap year.
Also, as we say in English, I wish you 'Bon Voyage '!

Other readings on Australia? See my post of March 10, 2009 (' And if we were having a little ?)
